This year has been great for Trade Canvas Print. From studio modifications to a brand new website, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved in such a short period of time. In this blog post we’re highlighting some of the changes the year has brought and some key projects we have completed.
We retuned in January from the busy 2014 Christmas period (and a much-needed break). Research and development of products to offer our clients was our first project of the year. Our website at the time offered a 38mm frame canvas, rolled canvas and two types of paper prints. We wanted to develop a new canvas product that offered a different price range and a cheaper option for our clients that wouldn’t compromise on quality. Expanding our choice of papers was also a priority for us. After trying and testing versions of the 20mm frame canvas and choosing the highest quality papers that we would offer, we soft-launched these new products throughout the year. The feedback we received was great and we decided that upon the launch of our new website, we would launch these products at the same time. We are now proud to offer eight different types of paper for photographic and fine art printing, as well as a 38mm frame canvas, 20mm frame canvas and rolled canvas products. We like to improve and change our studio as often as we can. This year we have had new work benches, a product display wall, type and infographic canvases as well as new storage solutions to enhance the space in which we work. The new benches are ergonomically designed to be the optimum height for working and the improved storage has allowed us to hold more stock. We are really proud of our studio and for the new website we decided to have a video produced to show what we do here at Trade Canvas Print. Please read on to view this.
After a few months of researching and choosing a company to develop our new website, we had some initial ideas through from designdough to look at. It was an exciting time for us as this new website would replace a site that had been live for over eight years. It was an important time for Trade Canvas Print as we wanted to showcase our products as well as we could and provide an innovative way of ordering. Throughout the year, the website was designed and developed ready for its’ launch at the end of October.
This year alone we have invested in two new large format printers, new studio phones and computers. This has helped us provide a more efficient service for our clients. As our studio is spread across an old dairy building, we have improved the quality of our calls by investing in new phones which have features such as wifi-calling enabled. They are located throughout the building and they help us take more calls with crystal-clear sound. We also have a new computer and software to help us reply to emails, process orders and update the website seamlessly. All of these investments are important to us and our ‘Premium As Standard’ brand.
This year we have worked with corporate giants such as Npower, Panasonic and the Environment Agency. It is a great privilege to work with these companies and it is a great way to develop our brand and showcase the premium as standard service we offer.
With the improvements we have made to our studio and service we offer, we are now able to complete local orders the very same day! Our studio is located in Tenby, South-West Wales. Please feel free to visit us upon our return to the studio on Monday 4th January 2016.

We have new courier partners this year after researching the market. Order turnaround is one of the best selling points of Trade Canvas Print. Partnered with our white label shipping service, we are able to send products to your clients in record time. Our new courier partners can offer one-hour time slots for parcel deliveries, reschedule delivery dates and even deliver to a local store. For more information about this service please click here.
At the end of October, we launched our brand new website. We spent a year researching, developing and testing it and couldn’t be more proud of the outcome. It showcases all of our products and their quality features, as well as improved usability. The website is responsive to whichever device you use, from desktop to tablet and mobile. This was an important feature for us as orders from mobile devices progressively continue to grow. We also had uploader and preview software coded to provide an unrivalled ordering experience. This even allows you to see your products in 3D before adding to your basket. The new website has an enhanced dashboard also, which allows us to process orders more efficiently and further improve the service which we provide. There are also a number of features of the site which we are going to utilise in the New Year innovate and grow further as a company. We’ve had so much great feedback, thank you very much for this!
As we have launched eight new paper types, we have produced a handy pocket-sized booklet to send out upon request. This will allow you to see each paper before ordering and choose which would be best for your photos and artwork. Year-upon-year we have seen growth at Trade Canvas Print and this year we reached a record high with Christmas sales starting as early as 1st November! Our new website has played a big part in this and improved the order process from start to finish. Thank you very much for your support and we hope you like your products.
